Thank you for using the services of Studio Grizzle (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for using all services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”), as well as other necessary matters.
Purpose
The purpose of these Terms of Service is to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the Service, and to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the Company, as well as other necessary matters.
Definitions
- “Service” refers to all services provided by the Company that users can utilize regardless of the device used.
- “User” refers to any individual who accesses the Service and uses it in accordance with these Terms of Service, including members and non-members.
- “Member” refers to an individual who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company, continuously receives information from the Company, and can continue to use the services provided by the Company.
- “Non-member” refers to an individual who uses the services provided by the Company without registering as a member.
Specification and Amendment of Terms
- The Company shall make these Terms of Service easily accessible to users by posting them on the initial screen of the Service.
- The Company may amend these Terms of Service to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws such as the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
- If the Company amends the Terms of Service, it shall specify the effective date and the reasons for the amendment, and post the current Terms of Service along with the amended Terms at least seven days before the effective date on the initial screen of the Service.
- Users have the right to refuse the amended Terms of Service. If users do not agree to the amended terms, they may stop using the Service and terminate their membership. If users continue to use the Service after the effective date of the amended terms, it will be considered as acceptance of the changes.
Provision and Modification of Services
- The Company provides the following services:
- Content provision services
- Any other services developed by the Company or provided through partnership agreements with other companies
- The Company shall notify users of any changes to the content, operational or technical specifications of the services.
- The Company may modify, suspend, or change some or all of the free services according to its policies and operational needs, and unless otherwise stipulated by relevant laws, the Company is not obligated to provide compensation to users for these changes.
Suspension of Services
- The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of services due to maintenance, replacement, breakdown, or communication disruptions of information and communication facilities such as computers.
- In the event of temporary service suspension as described in paragraph 1, the Company shall compensate users or third parties for damages caused by such suspension. However, this does not apply if the Company is not at fault due to intentional or gross negligence.
Membership Registration
- Users may apply for membership by filling out the registration form provided by the Company and expressing their agreement to these Terms of Service.
- The Company shall register users as members unless they fall under any of the following conditions:
- If there is a false, omitted, or incorrect entry in the registration details
- If it is determined that registering the user as a member would cause significant technical issues for the Company
- The membership contract becomes effective when the Company’s acceptance reaches the member.
- Members must promptly notify the Company of any changes to their registered information via email or other methods.
Member Withdrawal and Disqualification
- Members may request withdrawal from the Company at any time, and the Company shall process the withdrawal immediately.
- The Company may restrict or suspend membership if a member:
- Registers false information at the time of application
- Interferes with others’ use of the Service or steals information
- Engages in acts that violate laws, these Terms of Service, or public order and morals
- If the member repeats the same act twice or more after being restricted or suspended by the Company, or fails to rectify the issue within 30 days, the Company may disqualify the member.
- In the event of disqualification, the Company shall delete the member’s registration, and the member shall be notified and given an opportunity to explain themselves at least 30 days before the deletion.
Notification to Members
- When the Company needs to notify members, it may do so via the email address provided by the members.
- For notifications to a large number of unspecified members, the Company may substitute individual notifications by posting the information on the initial screen of the Service or the bulletin board for at least one week.
Protection of Personal Information
The Company makes efforts to protect users’ personal information in accordance with relevant laws, and the protection and use of personal information are governed by relevant laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy.
Company’s Obligations
- The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by law and these Terms of Service or against public order and morals, and shall make its best effort to provide continuous and stable services as stipulated in these Terms of Service.
- The Company shall have a security system in place to protect users’ personal information (including credit information) so that users can safely use the internet service.
- The Company shall handle user complaints and feedback regarding the Service, and notify users of the process and results via email or other methods.
Users’ Obligations
- Users shall not engage in the following activities:
- Registering false information during application or change processes
- Stealing others’ information
- Changing information posted by the Company
- Transmitting or posting information (computer programs, etc.) other than those specified by the Company
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
- Damaging the reputation or interfering with the operations of the Company or third parties
- Posting or distributing obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information against public order and morals on the Service
- Users shall comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms of Service, user guidelines, and notices related to the Service, and shall not engage in any activities that interfere with the Company’s operations.
Intellectual Property Rights and Use Restrictions
- The intellectual property rights for all content created by the Company belong to the Company.
- Users shall not use any information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it without prior consent from the Company.
- When the Company uses intellectual property rights that are vested in users according to an agreement, the Company shall notify the respective users.
Dispute Resolution
- The Company shall establish and operate a damage compensation processing organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints from users and compensate for any damages.
- The Company shall prioritize handling complaints and feedback submitted by users. However, if prompt processing is difficult, the Company shall immediately notify users of the reasons and the processing schedule.
- In the event of an e-commerce dispute between the Company and a user, the user may request dispute resolution from the Fair Trade Commission or a dispute resolution agency designated by the local government.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- Any litigation arising from e-commerce disputes between the Company and users shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Any disputes arising between the Company and users shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
